A campaign for hot sauce brand Texas Pete includes a video shot at Spang and directed by the studio’s Jordan Rodericks. Created by Cylndr Studios and McKinney, “The Yeehaw Straw for Texas Pete” campaign features a limited-edition, spicy flavor-infused straw made by the brand.
WebStrategies is rebranding to Geear after 21 years. The new name is an acronym for “Growth, essentialism, empathy, accountability and doing what’s right,” CEO Chris Leone said.
The Idea Center redesigned websites for Maine-based acute care medicine group BlueWater Health and Texas-based manufacturing company Vector Controls and Automation Group.
Xponent21 launched a website for a North Carolina-based Amsoil dealer. Xponent 21 also created a one-page website project for CT Metering Solutions, including brand messaging, visual design and site development, along with animated design features inspired by electrical systems.
The Martin Agency created a campaign for UScellular. Called “The Pinky Promise,” the campaign enlists reality TV star Shep Rose of “Southern Charm” fame and centers on a ring that can sit on a customer’s pinky knuckle to make endless cellphone scrolling uncomfortable. The campaign aims to challenge viewers to put down their phones.
Key Web Concepts launched a new website for The Byrd Theatre in Carytown.
Leslie Griles was hired as Dotted Line Agency’s chief client officer, a newly created role. Griles will focus on client support and growth for the agency. Griles has led her own consultancy, LGImpressions, for the past decade. Prior to that, she spent 18 years at The Martin Agency.
LRL Racing selected five students for a sports marketing internship: Gianna Furth, University of Delaware; Tess Romine, The George Washington University; Aileen Humphreys, Elon University; and Analy Amado Limon, Virginia Commonwealth University.
Addison Clark completed a website redesign for WiseUp Coaching & Consulting. The firm is supporting organic and paid social media and Google ads for Richmond-based primary care practice PrecisionHealth. It also is working with Confetti, a cookie dough and brownie batter brand, on its social media presence ahead of a fall release.
